CLD101 Carousel 101 - Getting Started (45-60 min.)
This course is the prerequisite to all other courses in the Carousel training. Topics covered include terminology, logging in to the system, navigating between zones, and an overview of content creation and media uploading.
CLD110 Advanced Template Bulletins (30-45 min.)
This course will go over all tools and options available in template creation for bulletins and full screen alerts. It includes creating background bulletins for zones with seamless backgrounds.
CLD120 Advanced Dynamic Bulletins (50-75 min.)
This course gives step-by-step instructions for creating every available type of dynamic bulletin in Carousel. Dynamic bulletins include clocks, calendars, RSS feeds, live video and more.
CLD130 Action Menu Training (20-30 min.)
This course will show you all of the functions and options available with the action menu, an important tool for completing many tasks. Action menus are located in the bulletin, alert, template, and media manage areas of Carousel.
CLD140 Advanced Media and Bulletin Uploading (20-30 min.)
In this course, you will learn how to better use audio, video, backgrounds and pictures in Carousel bulletins, as well as techniques for uploading bulletins. Also included are tips for uploading multiple media items at once and creating bulletins with outside publishing software.
CLD199 Carousel Certified User Examination (60 min.)
This course will cover zone and channel creation for users who would like to build their own channels. Users will learn about creating different zone types, organizing them into channels, managing channel settings, and uploading seamless backgrounds.
CLD210 Player Training (15-25 min.)
This course will teach administrators how to manage their players in the player dashboard and set channel schedules in Carousel.
CLD220 FrontDoor Training (45-60 min.)
This course will go over the process of creating users and assigning roles, detailed explanations of access rights and domains for users, and strategies for setting up user accounts for your system. It will also cover the server settings located in FrontDoor.
CLD230 System Settings (20-30 min.)
This course will explain all settings available in the system settings area on the configure screen in Carousel. Settings include authentication, CAP configuration, notifications, zone tags, and more.
CLD240 Large System Planning (20-30 min.)
This course is designed to assist in setting up a large system, with multiple channels, Carousel users, and displays. Best practices and examples will be illustrated in each video to help make your system as efficient as possible.
This course goes over the important components that make up a Carousel signage system, including SQL, Carousel Service/Rendering Service/Rabbit MQ, and IIS.
CSL420 - Technical "How To" Videos (28-42 min.)
This course shows users how to complete the most important technical tasks for Carousel. These include installing Carousel software, updating software, migrating systems, backing up a Carousel system, and specialized Carousel configurations.
CSL430 - Installing Players (9-18 min.)
This course takes you step-by-step through the process of installing Windows, BrightSign, and AppleTV players.
